Not everybody knows that Iverson, actually, was a BETTER football player than he was a basketball player in High School. He was better than Mike Vick AND Aaron Brooks in High School. Had it not been for that bowling alley incident, Iverson may have ended up in the NFL. Maybe even at QB.

5A high school baseball championship: Lone Peak rallies to beat Cottonwood
Lone Peak rallied for four runs in the bottom of the sixth to defeat the Colts 5-4 on Friday afternoon to claim its first 5A state baseball championship in school history. It’s the Knights’ first state baseball title since they won back-to-back 4A crowns in 2000 and 2001.

It is the summer and next year I will be a senior. I have only this summer and next season to earn a basketball scholarship. I need to know how to get recognized. I am aware that colleges look for what fits the team, but I need to set goals and need to know what are the ideal stats of a high school basketball scholar. Hello, I play basketball for my high school. How many calories should I take in per day. ( In-Season and Off-Season ). Because I have basketball during the in-season and I’m working out in the off-season by running, weightlifting, speed, agility, and basketball. Thanks.
This also pertains to, consuming calories but still staying lean with low body fat count.

Make the transition from High School Baseball to College Baseball
1) First, the player must be conscious of who and what he is now and how he got there.

) Second, he must find a planning solution for development and recruitment goals that is balanced and based on who he is as a “Individual – Student – Baseball Player” at the High School level now.

) Third, He must over time at regular intervals assess and continue to become more aware, more confident, more knowledgeable, gaining experiences and develop his total “Individual – Student – Player” product to match both short term and long term goals.

) Fourth, he must understand that he personally must communicate and engage the process with enthusiasm and be active in presenting his high school “Individual – Student – Baseball Player” product to college coaches and institutions that “match” his need and who in turn desire what he realistically has to offer them.
